Motivation Boosters
Motivation is what causes us to act, whether it is going to school to gain knowledge, or going to the restroom to relieve ourselves. Motivation is the power of your will that pushes you, until you accomplish your goals. Sometimes I have found that I am not all that motivated and need to been motivated.
Ways that I have found to motivate myself:
Using these motivators helps me to get going, feel energized, refreshed, and gives me a jump start on achieving other activities.
- Breath deeply and relax
- Go for a walk, either short or long
- Listen to music
- Clean the house or car
- Setting goals for yourself of things to accomplish
- Think about the benefits of doing something for yourself
- Determination to get things done
- Tell yourself that you can do it
- Think positive vs. negative
- Reward yourself for accomplishments
