Job Hunt
Now that classes are soon to end for the semester, it is time to seriously think about finding a job. It has been awhile since I have had to look for a job seriously, and I should be a pro at the job search since I have worked most of my life, but doubt always sets in, and then all the news on the economy which is now looking better, so here I am thinking about my next employer and what my next job will be. I am open to almost anything and I do have my preferences and of course like everyone else want the compensation that goes with it. I know I have the ability to be affective in any type of work environment, and work hard to ensure that my work ethics, quality and quantity are above average, and I support the company in whatever endeavor’s they pursue.
I have my favorite type of work, but that is not always possible to obtain but I am excellent in certain areas such as Quality Management, or Quality Control/Assurance, as well as working in a office environment, a copy center, production/manufacturing, you name it as I just like working in general, staying busy, using my mind, and body to produce something meaningful to someone is a sense of accomplishment.
If you’re an employer and are seeking a dedicated employee and are located in Southern California, just send me a email, a phone call, or reply to my blog, I will be eager to hear from you.
I have extensive experience in Quality Management (ISO-9001) and am certified as a Quality Management Representative, and an Internal Auditor. I also have extensive experience in Total Quality Management (TQM) from the inception with the proclamation from the white house for companies providing goods to support our troops in combat, military use, etc. had to implement Total Quality Management based upon Deming’s profound knowledge. This proclamation was sent out I believe in 1984, and I started working on Total Quality Management in 1986, and I have successfully implemented Total Quality Management, Continuous Process Improvement, and Managing with Six-Sigma Quality, into companies with successful results.
I implemented the Boeing D1:9000 Advanced Quality System Program into a fastener company making that fastener company the first fastener company to achieve the D1:9000 Certification from Boeing. Once a supplier is approved then Boeing is able to release work to the company.
The things that are needed when you are looking for a job:
- Resume
- Cover Letter
- Certificates/Education
- References
Writing all this out has really made me feel good, and I wonder at this point where that doubt came from. We humans have a tendency to doubt our own ability, thus in return, hinder our true potential. If I did it once, then I definitely can do it again.
