Once Upon A Time
There was this little old lady who lived way on top of a hill, for this little old lady was so lonely that she didn’t know what to do, so the little old lady decided that she should buy a little bunny. The little old lady went to visit the farmer down the road to ask him to take her to the street market to buy a little bunny.
One fine Sunday morning off the little old lady and the farmer went down a long winding country road to the street market to buy a little bunny. The farmer drove an old beat up truck that creaked as they drove, and it would toss the little old lady this way and that way down the long winding country road, till they finally arrived at the street market.
The farmer and the little old lady searched for a little bunny all day, and could not find even one bunny, and then all of a sudden something hopped across the path of the little old lady, so the little old lady and the farmer followed the bunny home.
The little bunny belonged to a young girl who had two little bunnies for sale, but the young girl would not separate the bunnies, so the little old lady offered to buy both bunnies, and paid the young girl for two bunnies. The farmer loaded the bunnies into the back of the old truck, and off the farmer and the little old lady went back home.
The little old lady just loved her little bunnies, and she would feed her bunnies, lettuce, carrots, apples, and bunny food. One day as if by magic the bunnies grew, and grew. The bunnies were now so massive that they were not little bunnies anymore. One bunny was a male and the other bunny was a female, and soon they became mama bunny and papa bunny. Baby bunny was born and he too became to be massive in size, so much so that the little old lady took the bunnies to the Vet.
The Vet told the little old lady that these were not little bunnies, that in fact, these bunnies are rare rabbits called “Continental Rabbits.” The little old lady’s rabbits were the worlds largest rabbits! Papa bunny weighed 60 pounds and was five feet long. Mana bunny weighed 50 pounds and was four feet long, and baby bunny weighed 40 pounds, and was three feet long.
Now these bunnies were hungry all the time, for they would eat 10,000 carrots a year, and they ate 1,000 apples a year, not to mention lettuce and rabbit food. This poor little old lady would have to plant new grass every year, as the bunnies would eat all the grass.
The little old lady had to have the farmer build a Hugh fence for the bunnies, so that they could run, hop and play. The little old lady just loved her bunnies, and daily she would walk her bunnies, talk to them, and just sit and watch them play.
One day the little old lady went out to play with her bunnies and she found papa bunny and mama bunny asleep in the hey, and baby bunny was sniffing papa bunny and mama bunny. The little old lady went up to papa and mana bunny to wake them from sleep, and found that papa and mana bunny were not moving, nor would they wake up.
The little old lady had the farmer take her and the sleeping bunnies to the Vet, and the Vet told the little old lady that the bunnies only live for 8-9 years, and that papa and mama bunny were old, so they went to rest in bunny land.
The little old lady was so sad to loose her bunnies that she loved so much. The little old lady then went out to baby bunny and tried to pick up baby bunny and hugged him as she said “Once Upon A Time, I wanted a little bunny, for now I have a big rabbit, and you have made me as happy as can be.” Baby bunny just loved when the little old lady would hold him, and he flopped across her lap as happy as can be.
The End
