Cover Letter for Journals & The Fire Drill

The journals were written as part of our class assignments to journal for approximately 25 minutes at the beginning of each class, therefore I sometimes would be inspired to write about specific subjects such as goals, motivation, stress, etc. Sometimes I had to brainstorm what I was journaling about such as 50 things you can do to feel better, or the fire drill which was written as part of an assignment in which we picked a number, then based upon the number we had to look up the words identified with that number which were bikini, toothpick, and ice, then we had to write a story about the words with a beginning sentence. With the journaling sometimes I would just start writing on a subject that had special meaning to me either that day, week, or month. I read and re-read what ever I write and make changes, or corrections as needed. When I first start writing I just write my ideas out, then I correct the sentences so that they have meaning. The journals made me feel better especially the subject on stress, because it helps you release your energy to write something out, compared to holding things in.

The journals have meaning to me as they are reflective of me, and what I am feeling, thinking, or even going through. I thing about the topic that I am writing a journal about and then write on the subject with details, and I feel that I have been able to write each journal as well as the fire drill clearly. Some of the journals were pleasing to write because they were written on subjects that were fun to write about such as 50 things to do to feel better, or motivation. I read and re-read each journal enough times to try and ensure that the grammar and spelling are correct enough so that the reader will be able to understand the meaning.
